The Hospital Bond Program is a process to allocate state funds to private hospital capital projects.
Each hospital project undergoes an application and screening process and then a scoring and ranking process by a committee composed of hospital trustees and executives from across the state.
The application forms will be completed and submitted electronically through hospital specific SharePoint sites Application materials can be accessed by downloading the files listed below. To begin the application process, please contact Jane Krienke, firstname.lastname@example.org or (410) 540-5061, with your primary contact’s information to create a hospital specific SharePoint site.
Hospitals applying for funding under this program must request the appropriate approvals/exemptions from both the Maryland Health Care Commission and the Health Services Cost Review Commission no later than Friday, April 26. Letters requesting approval must be mailed to the agencies. In addition, an electronic copy (in word format) must be sent to each agency. Both physical and electronic addresses can be found in the “Hospital Bond Program Overview,”. Approval letters received by the agencies, must be included in the final application submission.
Hospitals must submit their completed application via their Sharepoint site no later than Friday, June 21.
