Sara L. Greaves, C.P.A., is the Vice President of Finance of the Maryland Hospital Association. In this role Greaves manages the association’s accounting team and oversees the financial health of MHA and its subsidiaries and related organizations including MHA Prime and Maryland Healthcare Education Institute.
Before joining MHA, Sara served as chief financial officer for Washington County Government. There she oversaw accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, debt management, capital asset management, procurement, and grant management. She has served as an expert adviser to fellow directors, the administrator, and the board for a variety of projects and strategic imperatives.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Maryland University College and earned a Master of Business Administration from Frostburg State University.
