MHA is honoring you, your hospitals and health systems, and your special role in your communities during National Hospital Week. To help you celebrate, MHA shares these resources and tools along with messaging throughout the week on social media highlighting the connection between “Healthy Hospitals, Healthy Communities.”

In my first few months in this role, I have had the privilege to visit about half of our member hospitals and health systems. I took the opportunity to speak last week with D. Paul Monteiro, Jr., Maryland Secretary of Service & Civic Innovation, at MHA’s offices. We discussed the Maryland Corps/Service Year Option program—an innovative program launched by Gov. Wes Moore's administration.
