Improving hospitals' use of women and minority-owned businesses.
The goal of the Women- and Minority-Owned Business Initiative is to improve hospitals’ utilization of women and minority-owned businesses by creating an environment where contracting with minority businesses is the norm. Initiative participants are creating the foundation for cultural change through educational forums, identifying best practices, and developing of a system to track progress.
